Join fellow parents, caregivers, and educators in this unique leadership series designed to strengthen your voice and expand your impact.
Participants will learn how the Rhode Island legislature works, how education policy is shaped, and how to effectively advocate for change. Build the skills to navigate the policymaking process, engage decision-makers, and lead confidently in your community.

1 virtual class
A community-based experience
These will include opportunities to meet with leaders in the field, learn about the educational landscape in Rhode Island, visit the State House, and practice public testimony.
In this series, you will…

Strengthen your leadership, advocacy, and communication skills, so you can speak confidently with policymakers and represent your community effectively.

Participate in small constituent meetings with legislators and other decision-makers, learning how to develop ongoing, productive relationships that influence policy.

Connect with fellow parent leaders, education advocates, and community partners from across Rhode Island who are committed to improving public education.
