Joshua Seguí-Rodríguez is an experienced educator and leader with over a decade of expertise in racial justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion work. A graduate of Wesleyan University with a concentration in Ethnic Studies and the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, Joshua has dedicated his career to fostering inclusive communities and transformative learning experiences.

He began his professional journey teaching a Social Justice Seminar for Upward Bound students at Wesleyan University, preparing first-generation college students for academic success. He went on to serve at Brown University in leadership roles, first as the Assistant Director for Co-Curricular Initiatives and later as the Director of the Brown Center for Students of Color, where he oversaw strategic programs to promote belonging and equity. Most recently, Joshua served as the Executive Director of Intercultural Engagement at Syracuse University, overseeing multiple cultural centers and advancing inclusion initiatives.

Passionate about restorative justice, community care, and accountability, Joshua now serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Community College of Rhode Island. In this role, he works to advance equitable outcomes and foster a sense of belonging for all students, faculty, and staff.
